>> 1 Snowball USB Microphone: just in case I have the sudden yen
>> to record a podgram. You never know.

Ooh, yes please! c'mon, c'mon, can hardly wait for a new round of podgrams. The last lot made the commute from Rehovot to Jerusalem such a pleasure. Still have "Language" and your amazing "BBC Speech" zapping the synapsies.

Get on with it!

Another gadget lover here. A journalist friend of mine here in Italy told me about Mr Fry's tech writings. And I was pleased to see that he has written about and given the thumbs up to the Blackberry Bold. I have one and I love it. Email on the run, superb screen, solid feel, and even handles Italy's sludgy mobile Internet pretty well. Best mobile phone/handset/whatever I've owned so far!

Now I'm off to see if Mr Fry has discovered the ultimate tech toy - the digital SLR! Hope he has!

All the best from Milan

I wonder what will happen in the future on this mobile market. I do not think they have already reached the limits of the technology. There are many open things to do it. (ex. chip sized voice recognitioned phones, etc.)

I'm glad you like the Bold but I feel you may have been somewhat troubled by the fact you had it from Orange. They rushed the launch on their network before properly testing the software on the handset and so many problems ensued.

I, and four of my colleagues, all have the Bold from O2 on BIZ and apart from the lack of Flash support, I can honestly say I wouldn't swap it for anything, okay maybe the Javelin. BB messenger is the mutz and we, along with other BB owners, use it daily where ever we may be.

I've a few map programs on my bold and BB maps is good as is Google and Nav4all but the best is Telmap without a shadow of a doubt.

Absolutely love the Docs to go application. Saved my life a few times I can tell you.

Last but not least, Twitterberry. And it's your fault talking about it on Wossys show that got me hooked on it - LOL!

Anyway, thanks for all the laughs, excellent information and general conversation that now adds to my life.

Kindest regards,
Kerry.

Great read, but I guess this blog is now passed its sell-by date. I'm waiting for the Nokia N97 (March 31?), the specs of which will supersede much of what is written here.

I hate paying the exorbitant hotel wifi rates myself. Often I find I can get a free signal by 'aiming' my laptop out a window.
This quest for a free signal has gone as far as sitting at my room window of the Shangri-la Hotel Bangkok to 'catch' the Peninsula Hotel's free signal (password was easily guessed as 'Bangkok') from across the river.
or
Setting up an ironing board desk on my balcony on the 57th floor of Swissotel Singapore and 'aiming' the laptop back down to the street.

I enjoy your blog and think your twitter updates are good fun.
Cheers from Toronto
