Over such a brief time I became so attached to those marvelous characters, those charming, funny stories and subplots and that lush setting. The idea of never seeing them again is embarrassingly distressing. But thank you for a wonderful opportunity to really get lost in a delightful, ideal world for a short time. My friends and I have had such fun enjoying your many talents over the years. Thank you for that. For my entire 58 years I have had such an affinity for England, it almost makes me believe in past lives. I am never so content and at home as when I am there. As my children grew, my plan was to move to the UK for at least a few years. Actually it was my dream, more precious than a plan. We have all heard the expression, man plans, God laughs. The chuckle He sent my way was multiple sclerosis. I am now too disabled to probably ever even visit England again, never mind live there. Then last week I discovered Kingdom. It covers the bases on so many levels. It has you, it has humor, it has heart, it has a wonderful cast and it has that spectacular setting. It is my perfect English fix. For a little while I am there and it is blissful. Thank you so, so much. It is one of the best shows I have ever seen. I just finished watching all three seasons over again on Netflix. Now I am depressed all over again because there are no more shows. So they just stop like that, in the middle of the Intrigue. That's just astonished... I took this disruption as an opportunity to cancel my cable TV service, and mostly use Hulu Plus for TV shows. That's where I discovered "Kingdom," a very enjoyable series.
