it can be hard to shop for memory cards based on brand.
I got a cheap brand SD card at one point, and the sticker came off easily, revealing a Toshiba logo printed on the actual plastic of the thing.

They're so cheap these days, you're best off just having spares, and making sure you generally transfer data off cards to hard drives often, (and then back them up to external drives, and then back them up by burning to CD/DVD/Blu-Ray..................)

I'd say it's the card. I've used Sandisks for a few years and i've never had formatting or corruption problems. Amazon's the cheapest place to get them.

I have tryed to format the card with my computer, not worked.

I'm guessing its the card not the camera. <img src="http://www.stephenfry.com/bb-content/plugins//bb-smilies/default/icon_mad.gif" title=":x" class="bb_smilies" /> i had some great pics on there.

Also, how old is the CF card?

Flash memory has a finite amount of times it can be written to before it goes bad. If it's an old card, it could just be going bad.
