On the 23rd Feb 2009 Norfolk Country Council proposed a plan to build a traveller site on a green field site that cuts right through the historic Angles Way footpath at Brockdish.

They intend to issue a compulsory purchase order on the land owner to force the development through.

Details of the consultation can be found here:

http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/consultation

I have setup a facebook protest group here:

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=83894665080&ref=mf

Any help anyone can provide, or suggestions on how to stop this development would be appreciated. Apparently the council consider this green field site a front runner.
