Kind of give more details & help understand the film. But then it can as well makes the film less enjoyable in some cases. Anyhow, I just cheked out "In Lucia's Eyes" from the public library. It looks really interesting. Can't wait to read it. BTW, is Mr. Fry writing a screenplay for the movie? or is he going to be a(n) (executive) producer? I wish he would write the screenplay... definitely gonna be lovely ... :-//</blockquote> Haha I say probably but my endless fascination with all things Fry, my general love of literature and my very close proximity to a great bookshop will inevitably drive me towards having to buy the book. Call me a reluctant hedonist. ^^ Speaking of books and films, I'm currently listening to Stephen's Half Blood Prince audiobook, and given the fact that I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter films, this is going to be a tough one to beat! Their logo has changed too I've noticed. It used to be a Brussel sprout but now it's a tree. I've never heard of the book before. mmm. Wasn't he supposed to directing some films too like one about Handel? Has anyone heard anything more about that? This was announced by the Dutch publishing company De Arbeiderspers last Wednesday. The novel, also known as 'In Lucia's Eyes', is written by Dutch author Arthur Japin, and won the Dutch Libris literature prize in 2004. The novel is set in the eighteenth century and tells a story of love. The intended director for the movie is Iain Softley, who also directed the screen adaption of Henry James' novel 'The Wings Of The Dove'. Fry's production company (Sprout Productions) is also planning to adapt the novel to the stage. </blockquote>
