Thanks very much, glad you liked it <img src="http://www.stephenfry.com/bb-content/plugins//bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />
It's probably my favourite, being a rather polished dream anyway haha
Thanks so much again <img src="http://www.stephenfry.com/bb-content/plugins//bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Cool! I'd say keep writing, go with it <img src="http://www.stephenfry.com/bb-content/plugins//bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />
Everytime is really good, I like it, I like the way you have formless verses but this line keeps coming back, the constant and inconstant mixing...you definitely set up intrigue about the situation in your description, it's good that you don't tell us too much about this other person, that s/he is as much a mystery to the writer as the reader.
Like it <img src="http://www.stephenfry.com/bb-content/plugins//bb-smilies/default/icon_biggrin.gif" title=":D" class="bb_smilies" />

For some absurd reason I've written two poems in the past week
I don't do poetry
Prose yes, anything other than poetry in the creative field, huzzah! But as a general rule I feel horribly emotionally exposed in poems
But for some reason that's all gone to hell and here are two suitably nauseating poems for all to 'enjoy' =P

This one's a thought process I have far too frequently related to an arse of a situation lol

http://shes-so-1970s.deviantart.com/art/Everytime-88382108

Everytime

Everytime
There is
A bustling street
A bridge
Pavement blinding in the sunlight
Look up
Dazzling blue
Perfect
Were I not traipsing round town
As it is I'm hostile
Ruffled
Aching with lethargy
Colours flit past me
Some fresh and bright
Others worse for wear
Like my own
And as my feet drag along the ground
Wearing my soles thin
And my vision is blurred by my watering eyes
And as I feebly flex to fight the grooves in my fingers, courtesy of the summer shop
One of the colours catches my eye

Everytime

I pass the bags to my companion, signalling them to wait
I blink away the blur
Begin to cross the crowd
Keeping that rare hue in sight
On the back of a head, which waves goodbye
To 'just another colour'
Allowing me a glimpse, of a familiar profile
But it is just a glimpse
As it stares out across the river
And I warily approach
And as I do, I pick out all the things, I associate with you

It's all the same

But I don't trust
I stand, inches behind, and mumble your name
Just loud enough that your ears may find it
Even now I don't know what I expect
Reaction or indifference?
Both thoughts scare me
So as I let go of that final sound, my mind is humming
Buzzing with indecision
The possibilities were always there
And you turn
Miraculously, you turn

Everytime

I feel your eyes flit over me
Tear into me
Because mine are doing the same
I drink you in in an instant
Smilingly catch my breath
And see my expression reflected in yours
Your hands, cold on my burning cheeks
I blink in slow motion
My heart skips a beat
I gasp and my eyes open
Blearily
Onto the white ridges and grooves of my bedroom cieling
My pulse and mind races to a standstill

Everytime

Aaaand this one pretty much speaks for itself, and blatantly related lol

http://shes-so-1970s.deviantart.com/art/I-ll-Reliv.....d-87759625

I'll Relive Time In Your Mind

I'd love to walk through this village with you
See the baffled faces I've known for years
Break the usual sight
Out of the windows of those too observant
On a weekday afternoon
Walk these streets, well known to me
And tell you tales
And all there is to know about this place that's been my home
For sixteen years now
Grass and fields and bricks and tar
But on the inside that little bit more
Which I'd like to show you
Open that secret door, and let you in
But not until I've heard your impressions
Outsider view
And I'd like to see the ruddy faces of the ones who mock me
For my boyish looks
For stepping out alone
For giving up my seat
For buying into culture
And choosing the backstreets over the main stretch
Yes I'd love them to see me with you
Walking
Talking
Laughing
Side by side
Through the winding ways of my home town
And they could stare until the light burnt out their eyes for all I care
Because then I'd know exactly what they see in me

You.
