I am seriously considering publishing my entire novel as a part work on this forum. A chapter a day. As I doubt it will ever see light of day.

Do you think it's a good idea?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (rubs chin in a deliberately thoughtful manner and considers eating a packet of Seabrook Beefy crisps)

Have you ever heard of Wordpress or Blogger?

You can create and create and create, for FREE with templates you pick with a few mouse clicks, and can create an entire site around this project. Both of the above sites will let you create up to 5 ( it might be more now! ) DIFFERENT blogs. So, you could have one that was dedicated to your poetry, and one to the book. I would recommend that over using this forum for a large work. Then, you can just post the link and if anyone's interested they can click on it and go right there

Really? Wow.

Thanks Nitro,

I've heard of them but had no idea how they worked. I'll have to investigate.

I've finally followed Nitro's advice, much thank-ums, and set up a blogspot where I've tried to transfer a poem and a short story I did yonks ago. The only problem is the paragraph indents don't carry over, so it might be a bit all crammed together. I'll do better in the future...

xxxx beastie

PS Am I daft or something, but didn't years ago lol mean lots of love, not laugh out loud. I have really been putting my foot in it these last few months with my posts...one lives and learns

Hello oliverpothecary.

I've been posting my novel in parts on my blogspot over the last month. If you manage to find it, you have to forgive the odd messy punctuation and errors as its been written over a few years...

And okay - I admit - i have committed the ocassional cardinal sin of mixing tense in a single sentence. (Puts out palm and slaps it with salamander - ouch)

enjoy

Phew.

Please, start with the Author's Note as a preamble, though no synopsis.

All comments would be welcome...I'm old enough to take it on the chin But not so old my jaw would break.
