The glistening branches, silhouetted by the moon, cast jagged edges.
And I wondered, on this winter night, whose fervent breath could put such bitterness to flight?
Whose luminous mien would melt the snow and set life free from nature’s tomb?
For I feel damned for not being drawn to beauty’s burning hearth.
Do I fear the words would die; the movement a scarecrow’s dance,
And that I would break the perfect line?

Thank you Tito.

I wrote a rough draft of it some 10 years ago but I could never get it right. So I spent last night in bed reworking it watching the snowflakes playing on the window pane outside.

LOL beastie.
