I'd never heard of this Steven Fry guy before, but now I'll follow his career with considerable interest.

I believe he's the sort of fellow you might like. make sure you're ready to deal with a high volume of screen caps is all I'm saying...

Sorry, have to ask as I wonder:

Do really mean Steven Fry or Stephen Fry ?

It's only because I simply can't imagine that you spell his name wrong.

That Wilde picture has made me want to watch it again! I think I will.
I really enjoyed Ode Less Traveled.. I got it for my birthday a few years back and remember starting reading it while eating (rather fittingly) a Fry's Mint Cream Bar. Mmmm. Although I've retained hardly any of the information. I was thinking about it and trying to remember about pentameters and all the anapest business but... blaaaahhhh. I fail at memory.

Haven't seen V yet. I had it recorded and sort of fast forwarded tough it to the parts with Stephen in so didn't get the plot. Must watch it!

Can I just say how much I LOVE The Liar? Also, the film version... does anyone know if it would be at all feasible to be an extra? Really. I'd do it for free. I wouldn't even need feeding. Hmmmmmmm.

I love this photo SO MUCH.

I was gonna write that. *pouts*

All your talking about V for Vendetta made me want to actually own that DVD. So I went downtown, found a really cheap one, bought it and now I'm happy. Guess what my plans are for this evening...

that is a nice photo! that caption is so...odd. it must be taken from a quote. "Stephen Fry, who makes his American film debut opposite Meg Ryan, has the same desires as the next man, but keeps them to himself." X-D that sentence is going about twenty places at once.

I have been gradually reading Ode Less Travelled and Paperweight both. quite different texts, obviously, so the common authorship isn't really an issue. I'm also in the middle of a book about science I bought from the bookstore, and also a Wodehouse book from the library. I'm a media glutton, I tell you!

which reminds me, I currently have Bright Young Things, Gosford Park, and Wilde all from the library...so I will be doing a lot of viewing coming up soon.

I wouldn't be rushing so much but during the school year I don't have time to sit around and watch movies. I only managed to watch Wilde twice during the last semester! for example, though, I got Bright Young Things from somewhere, maybe the university has it, and watched it with director commentary but not without! so I wasn't exactly sure what was going on the whole time. that is ... not adequate!

I posted in this thread this morning, and someone else did too...I don't even remember who it was, but she was reading Moab after a cat jumped on her bed. anyway, what I was going to show was that I took a picture of Moab before I returned it to the library. and the reason this was a silly thing to do is demonstrated pictorially below:

I mean, it looks like a cardboard square. :lol dude:

gotta love that dorm room carpet, btw.

Haha, well, you will always know what it was. Yes, it was Hope. I wonder if she is still in bed reading.

YouTube thread seems to have bought the farm along with some others so I'll post this here.
