This is *exactly* why famous actors should never, ever...
1) do television shows starring alongside teenage heart throbs
2) agree to sing any song that william shatner would record. ever.
3) if you do either one or two, or both, you fall into the danger of 'musical marvelousness', which means, well...you may be a mediocre actor with a mediocre voice and a mediocre dance ability. all musicals require such caliber, and no higher.
4) lather, rinse, repeat until you come to your senses.
