I don't have a postman. Well I guess I do, but he or she delivers the mail to our big neighbourhood post box at the end of the street so I've never met them.
Tito, I had trouble logging in the other day. It would send me back to the homepage before I had the chance to type in my info.
What's LSAT?

Law School Admissions Test. It's a big one. I'm taking it in June, but if you want to be competitive, ya gotta take a class. It's out of 180, and it has logic and reading comprehension type stuff. So I'm going to class for four hours twice a week until the end of school. I don't know, it'll be worth it if it gets me into University of Chicago or something.

Yikes good luck Katrina. I had not idea what SATs stood for before you said that. I'm just glad I don't have to take them.
No problem Tito. It seems to have been fixed now.
I've been forgetting things recently. Like, RIGHT after I think about them too. For example, I came on this site to do SOMETHING, but I can't remember what it was... and it wasn't this. It's like my minds suddenly empty and I can't even begin to think about what I could have been thinking about before.. Kind of creepy. It's been getting really bad. But then again, I've been pretty depressed this week, so that might have something to do with it.

Oh, the SAT's are complete balls. Easiest test I've ever taken. People who "study" for the SAT baffle me. To be fair, test taking is kind of my "thing," but still. The other ones are slightly more difficult: LSAT, MCAT (med school), GRE and GMAT (grad school), DAT (dental school), PCAT (pharmacy school), OAT (optometry school), etc, etc, etc.
That's an annoying thing: the U.S. is obsessed with standardized testing from age five to infinity. But hey, we're used to it...

We had to do provincials in grades 10 11 and 12. I also remember taking FSAs in grades 4 and 7, which weren't worth marks. I guess that's the closest thing to SATs we have here.
Wait... Is a plain old SAT taken in grade 12 to get in to University? Is it in everything? Or are there math SATs and French SATs and stuff depending on what you're taking? Ahhh so confused.

I can't imagine that it will be in vain to do such a class. Of course, it's no guarantee but it improves your situation, your going-in position, so to speak. You'll have to expend additional effort, it will cost some of your precious time, but it's the right thing to do.
Good luck to you, Katrina! (Oh, you're Boiler 12 )

28 hour power outages that keep you from having little things like TV, Internet, phone service, and lights. Annoying and slightly terrifying.

Infooo: SAT's are what you take in 11th grade (second to last year). It has math, language, and writing, and it's hardcore easy. There are also subject tests, but not all schools require them. Every state is different, but in Indiana we have the GQE (graduation qualifying exam) in 10th grade to graduate high school. The PSAT (pre-SAT) is also in 10th grade, which is only important because if you do well on it, you can get big scholarships. And then twice a year from K-9th grade we do ISTEP (Indiana State... something). It's pretty hard to fail ISTEP's, but if you do, you're basically in special classes forever.

^Haha I hope he eventually showed up.
The boy I went to Starbucks with today made me buy his drink. Hmph. He then precoded to ask me if I wanted to go to his place after he spent about an hour talking about how much of a messy person he was. I told him I had a headache which I'm pretty sure he didn't believe. *siiigh*
AND I forgot my mobile at the skytrain station which means I'll never get it back.
