actually, i have. maybe i am just too impatient!
even Andrew Sampson (creator of stephenfry.com said that he will get me unblocked. that was almost a week ago). i think, i am too impatient. |

Sadly been waiting over a month now since I posted (and yes, have had a couple of friends send a @stephenfry #fryblocked @matthewcornish tweet so in all a couple of months since I was blocked

That really is ashame. Unfortunately I do not know of any other way to fix it, and I don't even know how Twitter messed it up. If you log out completely and join all over with a new name, are you still blocked?

I got banned from following my favourite tweeter, I'm glad to see it wasn't deliberate. I have no friends who are followers of Stephen so cannot ask them to tweet on my behalf, could I be unbanned please? I used to look on Stephen's page to catch up on his writings but I see this is no longer possible. I'm also v8bluebottle on twitter.

Your friends don't have to be following Stephen, just not be blocked. I see from the posts above though that Twitter may not have figured out how to fix it yet. Still, have one of your friends send a tweet with the hashtag #fryblocked. Hope Twitter can figure it out soon, I honestly don't know what I would do if I couldn't get his tweets. (Actually, I would probably delete my account and start a new one.)

Not sure I want to do that Not that a million people follow me on Twitter but it is a bit of a faff - though a good idea nonetheless. I'll just stick to coming to this site to find out the latest... |

If you use Gmail you can set it up to display every single update to this site, including his latest tweets, without ever coming here directly - X-D - ( however, you can't particpate in the forum that way ).
