So... we've been starting to talk about a new project – for Stephen's birthday. On August 24th as you probably all know.

As we don't want anyone to miss the discussion, I thought it's better to start a new thread.

So far the ideas have been...

1) A flip book of photographs where we all hold the same HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHEN sign - but in different ways/places/costumes/other

2) A video with photo stills that look as though we're passing on a bear or Happy Birthday sign between people.

3) A bear stuffed with our messages of love. Or, if we don't want to it open, a bear holding a bag filled with the messages. Or a little basket filled with the messages and a bear using them as a blanket to sleep on.

I hope I got all it right and didn't forget anything that's been said so far.
Now what do you all think??

I am not a Russian spy, cross my heart and hope to die.

Oooh, I really like the first one where we all hold the sign. Maybe we could take the pictures, then put them in a bag/envelope for the bear to hold? So, 1+2+3?

Open to suggestions as to what my sig should consist of...

So an all of the above kind of thing Boiler? Ahhhh tricky. Well I'll agree to anything. As long as it has nothing to do with designing a computerized scrapbook or something.

I love them all and am on board for any of them *which makes me totally useless in the selection process* XD

I used to be EternalStudent on these forums until the switch over. So don't get excited..I'm not someone new and exciting. I'm just me :P

I like numer 2 as well. But I'm not yet sure how this would really work. Technically I mean. And if we wanted to use a teddy bear to pass on, we'd have to actually send it to everyone, right?

i think the idea was that we just send the messages to the final person, who will stuff them into the bear since Ginj pointed out that it's cheaper to just mail a message than the whole bear. I have a few bears which I don't mind sending to the final person. Or I don't mind BEING the final person. Whatever works.

Natalie: "Are you finished with your coffee cup Stephen?"
Stephen: "Yes Natalie darling I am, although it's not a coffee cup, it's a teacup..."

*5 minute debate later*

Result: The contents of the cup do not determine the name of the cup. The cup is a cup/mug whether it contains tea/coffee/ribena/hot chocolate or any other beverage.

#2 sounds great, but if it would involve sending a bear to the next person, the same bear travelling around the world, then maybe that would be a bit too complicated. Sending some kind of HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign around the world would be easier.

The bear with the messages, number 3 I mean, does sound awfully cute. Now that the teddy bear idea has come up, we simply have to use it in some way!
