I did have something else to say, but I'm a bit uncomfortable approaching the subject, but here goes....
As this project will require some materials - ie things to make the teddy bear, a teddy bear sized t-shirt & also a human sized t-shirt/t-shirt printing costs - we need to think of a way to organise paying for these.
What I'm trying to say is that no one person should have to pay for these items out of their own pocket. We need to come up with a plan that possibly involves all of those who wish to participate contributing a small amount towards the items that we need to complete the project. I have no idea how we could arrange to do this though.
I do understand that what I'm saying might not be popular but I believe we should all share in the cost of the project if we want to participate.
Love E.

How thoughtful of you, Pink-n-Fluffy
As far as the teddy and its t-shirt are concerned, I can assure you that I can cover the costs. Just to give you an idea: the material for the teddy costs little more than what I paid for postage of the birthday book last year, and the fabric for its t-shirt I have "in stock". You guys worry about the t-shirt for "the man himself". Is that okay?

It's looking pretty unanimous so there was obviously some violent agreement going on in this thread! I think it's a lovely idea, but I'm just a little uncertain of what I would do to be involved. I kind of feel I said what I wanted to in the book project so I'm not sure what to add in a scroll.

Um... uh...Hi. Yes, I am bumping this old thread up again. I just wanted to throw out another idea (no not a whole new idea, just a variation on the present one). The t-shirt idea is great and I love it, but am not so sure about the "fluffy" t-shirts. I mean it is a nice idea, but I am not sure how into the "fluffiness" Stephen is. So I was just going to throw out another idea. I was just wondering if it would be nice to put something like nrepka's Stephenism cloud onto a t-shirt. I just thought it would be something pretty cool.

Good point. Btw, not to be ignorant, but I'm still kind of new to Stephen Fry fandom: where did the whole fluffiness/fluffette thing come from anyway?

I do love this idea. I think it would look awesome on the T-shirt, maybe not all the Stephenisms (I mean not the whole "structure" @nrepka has) but a bunch of them only so that it will look neat
