That spoils the whole point of it if they lie in wait for a book to be dropped off and snatch it up. That's no fun at all. The fun is in the random chance of stumbling upon one and finding something unexpected to read.

Exactly. If I wanted to swap books with other people I'd do so without the hassle of tagging, ID-ing and releasing the book.

oh, that's really annoying - like Amyl said: the fun is in the random chance. It's a pity - some people are so do-or-die that they must turn everything into a competition...
