From Moab and Chronicles the reader discovers all the reasons that went into the choice of each of Mr. Fry's educational establishments. Except for Queens' College. I am really curious to know if perhaps Mr Fry's father had gone there or what was the thinking behind this particular choice. I am pretty sure he didn't make an "open" application because in Moab he states that he promised the sixth form headmaster that he would gain a scholarship to Queens' so he must have known already that he wanted to go there. 130 pages in Chronicles on life in Cambridge and not a word on reasons for college choice. The curiosity is killing me!
