In a recent episode Stephen said that QI hasn't caused any catchphrases to become used... but I'd like to counter that claim with a "Minus ten points!" klaxon...

My peers all use the "That's a common misconception!" claim and then state "Minus ten points!" whenever someone says something they believe to be true, but is actually incorrect.

QI already has catchphrases... let's see if these two can be spread even further than just the people I hang around with

^ Now that is the catchphrase that my friends use. We'll randomly burst into song whenever there's an awkward silence.

As we all know... they say of the acropolis where the Parthenon is...

That there are no straight lines!

Wow.
