I think my town win's the shittest decorations competition. They're so piss poor and lame. They look cheap and some of them aren't even working! Wtf why put up defective lights?! I want pretty lights like you've got Gerti!
 Manchester's lights are brilliant. Has anyone seen? Unfortunatly when I went to York my camera was being crap for the day so I've only got the one picture from the Festival of Angels to show you but fortunatly it's one of my favourites! The lion was one of the best, as was the eagle and the angel. There was also a bar made entirely of ice with a bloke serving Baileys on it outside a pub. We also got to see the sculptor making ice sculptures and there was fake snow being blown out of the windows.

Oh amyl_nitrate, that ice sculpture is simply beautiful!
 Unfortunately I have never been to Manchester, and what are my chances to do so, now that I am out of the country... Atari, it´s not the decorations that make a town  Probably more tax payer´s money available here, considering that about 1.8 million people inhabit the capital... Fryphile: you are soo sweet and predictable (I first misread the preposition "for" as "to" and thought, oh how kind, Fryphile is sending Christmas wishes to Mr Fry X-D which reminds me: shouldn´t we all, considering that he is providing us with this virtual playground?) Fryphile Kansas City's lights look amazing!  I love them!Oh amyl_nitrate, that ice sculpture is simply beautiful! Unfortunately I have never been to Manchester, and what are my chances to do so, now that I am out of the country... It was a very beautiful sculpture Gerti. One of the best! The sculpture was in York. My last post was a bit jumbly wumbly. I don't have any pictures of the Manchester lights. We were in a car when I saw them and just sped through and I'm like wah wanna stay and absorb all the beauty of the city and enjoy the nightlife.
