Anything I should know about this stuff? Took my first one and I think I'm at risk of anaphylactic response. Dangerous allergic swellings for the those that don't know the word.

The only way is forward. Now where's the bar?

I had problems in the past with Prozac, but I've only taken the first Citalopram this evening. I had an anti histamine 10 minutes ago, hoping that will stabilise what is hopefully an actually unrelated and coincidental inflammatory reaction to something. Scary, I've had to go to hospital in the past to get my tongue down to a safe size.

yeah i know what you mean. if it doesn't seem to subside, maybe you could go to an emergency room or something just in case?

I take it Maxx. I don't know of anything specific. I am looking it up for you right now. Will send links if I see anything.

You are not supposed to take it with asprin, non-steroid anti-inflammitories (ibuprofen)(i know you don't take that one), any other blood thinners. Can cause you to bruise easy or bleed easy if you took a bad fall.

If you have rash, itching, trouble breathing, severe dizziness you are supposed to seek medical attention immediatly.

Ideacollector posted before that he took it and I think he said it made him nauseous. He was going to take the pills to the pharmacy to have them quartered to see if that helped, but I don't think he posted how that worked out.

I'm not a he darling...I'm a she. It made me very very nauseated but I'm going to try them again after consulting with a psych...b/c my anxiety pills are keeping me stable until I get the appointment.

I used to be EternalStudent on these forums until the switch over. So don't get excited..I'm not someone new and exciting. I'm just me :P

Still breathing. Whether that qualifies for like as we know it....

Taking an antihistamine with it seems to control it. Feeling a bit nauseous, but not so much that I couldn't face a greasy fried egg sandwich.

There's actually a sense of relief lifting the general mood at the moment now that I'm doing something about the situation. Still have the problem of poor physical co-ordination, sleep deprivation, major insecurity and severe mood swinging that accompanies my down phases, but that will improve. And thanks everybody for being concerned, Tito will tell you, in our family we are used to being left to suffer alone, and this is an unexpected and pleasurable change.

glad it's pleasurable

my family is alright and yet still i am used to dealing with problems on my own, and so often push people away MORE the worse i feel.
