I get it Tobi, but can't find where you defined that reason. What was it again?

Really? Wow.

"Consideration and appreciation of others." Feel free to pm me if you need more.

I wish I could pretend to care enough about this to bother you with it Tobi, but I don't. I'm sure you have enough people whining about every disagreeable opinion they read

Really? Wow.

There is a poster of Winston Churchill inside the entrance to the War Rooms museum in Whitehall. His cigar has been "edited" out !!!

Of course it's not Stephen's choice whether to call Gibson's dog Nigger or not. If he tried to use the right name, it would be censored up the line. Much better to make the point of protest using irony. If it were me doing the screenplay i'd call the dog Honky!

Are you kidding us? Srsly?

Reminds me of the illustrious John Ashcroft ensuring that all the statues around him were covered with cloth of some sort before any of his press meetings. He didn't want their nasties hanging around behind his head LOL

There's a new coffe table style book out with 14 b&w images of tobacco related illness or some such. I almost fell down laughing when one sincere reviewer called the book 'moving' and went on applauding this book like it's some great work of Art.

Yeah. I wonder if the same book showing all the horrifically ugly images of 'death by texting and driving', (in b&w imagery, of course...that's how you always tell a REAL work of Art lol ), would get as welcome a response

Really? Wow.

Thanks for not being too offended by my disbelief and offering that link.

I couldn't help but read some of the comments ( I do like to read what other people think sometimes ) and this one struck me as very funny:

"In this stupidly politically correct time in which we live I suppose we ought to think ourselves lucky that they didn’t remove Churchill as well."

They could replace his image with an image of Jude Law. Much better looking; far less offensive in that respect too.

Really? Wow.

Have we really learned nothing? One thing I know for sure from being a teenager, is that if you hide or censor something it instantly becomes more alluring and interesting!

That would be me.

The Mark Twain thing has been going on for a while now, it's ridiculous. Intelligence will prevail, eventually, it has to.
