The awesome ballet impresario Robert Joffrey was sadly felled by AIDS before his time--well, as he himself was.
Fallen heroes are suitable in Russia but nowhere else can such great art be produced about tragic losses.

I no longer believe that we can keep silent. We never really do, mind you. In one way or another, we articulate what has happened to us through the kind of people we become.

It also occurs to me that this beats bibles, qurans, AA creed, etc:

If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
And if I am only for myself, what am I?
And if not now, when?

Found in kid's book. Some people are really smart.
