I spent an exquisite evening at the cinema on Saturday watching the new Dorian Gray film. I love belonging to espirit de corps of fellow Oscar Wilde devotees. The film makers had paid devoirs to the spirit of the novel. If you haven't seen it - I suggest you do - before it's too late.

Oh yes, Ben Barnes did very well to capture the boysih immortality. The scene with Ben Chaplin and the "trousers" shall we say was fantastic. Any scene in the cinema where the audience does not know whether to squirm or applaud is worth seeing in itself. Happiness? I remember that, I was 7 years old and I had ice cream. |
