Okey we've had favourite actors, now who are everyone's favourite comedians and comedy actors? Other than Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie of course.

Here are mine in no particular order (well except the first two, of course):

Rik Mayall (I've been a fan of his since I was about 2 or 3 years old and he's still my favourite comedian)
Peter Cook
Adrian Edmondson
Hugh Laurie
Dudley Moore
Dara O’Briain
Eddie Izzard
Dylan Moran
Bill Bailey
The League of Gentlemen
The 'Monty Python' guys
Frankie Boyle
Rob Brydon
Ed Byrne
Simon Pegg
Jack Dee
Mark Lamarr
Phil Jupitus
Jo Brand
Rowan Atkinson
Alan Davies
Andy Parsons
Russell Howard
Sean Lock
Steve Coogan
Harry Enfield
Kathy Burke
Ricky Gervais (he’s grown on me, I didn’t like him at first)
Tony Robinson
Jim Broadbent
Robbie Coltrane
Jack Black
Martin Clunes
Nick Frost
Nigel Planer
Mark Williams
David Jason
Jessica Stevenson
Craig Charles
Chris Barrie
Robert Llewllyn
Danny John Jules

I didn't know he was touring. Go if you have the chance. It'll probably be a fun night out.

In no particular order...

Eddie Izzard
Bill Bailey (seen him live a couple of times, made me laugh so much it hurt)
Andy Parsons
Russell Howard
Everyone in ManStrokeWoman
Everyone in Green Wing
Jo Brand
Rob Newman
Mark Thomas
Jeremy Hardy
Paul Merton
Dara O'Briain

Can't make up my mind about Ricky Gervais, sometimes he's quite funny but others he's just really, really not. Likewise I blow hot and cold about Reeves and Mortimer.

With Russel Brand I think that when eh's presenting his flamboyant personality is enough to make you love him but I've seen some of his stand up on youtube and it wasn't hilarious....

I didn't like The Office at all, I've just never found it funny but I like Extras. I don't like Gervais' stand-up (well the little of it I've seen so I might be being a bit unfair) but I like him on chat shows. It's like I hate Jimmy Carr's stand-up routine but I like him on panel shows and again on chat shows (except when he does any of his stand-up jokes) and the radio. David Mitchell and Robert Webb are okey, sometimes I like them and sometimes they don't even make me crack a smile.

Russell Brand is a first class twat. The guy isn't funny.

Robin Williams too and early Eddie Murphy (delirious) is first class.

I think Jimmy Carr is a comedic genius in stand up and on panel shows- he is one of my top five favourite comedians.
Mitchell and Webb.... mainly really enjoyed the tv show but the live show was rubbish, we left half way through... Oo and did you see them on Comic Relief- it was embarrassing.

I hate Russell Brand too. I don't get why people like him so much. He's just talking rubbish all the time. He's very irritating and unfunny.

No I didn't watch Comic Relief. I thought That Mitchell and Webb Look was okey. Some sketches were good but there were some that left me cold and there were some that were just repeat jokes in a different setting - boring - like the post waiter and numberwang. At least it's not as bad Little Britain where it's the same few jokes every episode, that's just boring. Not a fan of Catherine Tate either. She was irritating in the Dr Who christmas special.

I like Russell Brand mainly because he's so camp and he looks cute..... also- a couple of the things he says are actually funny- did anyone watch the secret policeman's ball.
