Don't know if there is already a thread for this but silly me couldn't find it it's not a poll or list it's just I would like to know peoples likes and dislikes on films as I'm a bit of a film fan not a buff or nerd just enjoy, I'm yet to find anyone who enjoyed Ravenous as much as I did, I like all types of films music books and art. I say that there are no "bad" things it's just personal choice. Just bought D.W.Griffith's Abraham Lincoln, I like old and modern, and yes I was born in the 1880's hence my wide eyed expression at the flickers

Is this specific to Stephen movies? I think perhaps you'd want it in the community section if not, though it's quite an interesting topic.

I have that effect..........take the subject, no matter what its about, and make it smutty.

I apologise in advance. As always.

I don't really have one favourite film. I have several that I love to bits. Mine are Withnail and I, Velvet Goldmine, Wilde, Total Eclipse, Moulin Rouge, Bladerunner, Metropolis, A Clockwork Orange and The Stepford Wives (the original). I also love comedy films like the Monty Python films and Bedazzled and I still love my childhood favourites like The Witches, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Return To Oz. All of these films I can watch again and again and again. If we're counting anime films than Perfect Blue and The Cat Returns are particular favourites of mine while my favourite western animated films are Hercules and Anastasia.

Assuming direct control...

And that's why we love you

If pressed, I usually say my favourite film is Groundhog Day. But there are many others I like... from The African Queen to Hellboy and many points in between.

Right Soupy...I'm on my way over. I'm with you on everything on your list (apart from Spinal Tap). And I was going to watch Galaxy Quest tonight......may have to watch something else now. Bug.

Other favourites of mine :

- T2
- Die Hard trilogy-'specially the second one
- Ghost in the Shell - soooo pretty
- Primer - mainly because I still don't get it but I like the time travel concept. Which is mostly what the film is about but its done in a interesting way with lots of science.
- Monsters Incorporated
