As a new "Kingdom" fan from Germany (just bought theDVD of the 1st season plus all Daily Telegraph DVDs of season 2, and I wont miss them anymore), my wife and I decided to visit Norfolf and specially Swaffham this summer. If anyone knows about the filming schedule (particular in August), that would be the cherry on the cream for our holiday.

We used to live near Swaffham ( wish we still did!) and I think the best tip I can give is keep your eyes peeled via the local paper.

They usually have some good coverage of the filming!
Hope you make it over and if you need any hints on where places are that were used, I can help you out with some of them!

Thanks so much! We managed to find many 'secret' little areas of Norfolk that were truly magical whilst walking 'the puppy'. If anybody is off to visit Norfolk and really loves the countryside, We are more than happy to pass on Grid references of the poppy fields, walks etc. Just drop us a private message or on the open forum!

Thank you so much for the gorgeous pictures I just love poppy and would therefore be very grateful if you could please share the Grid references of the poppy fields. I´m going to Norfolk on Saturday - too early for poppy, I know...
And your dog was indeed beautiful! I know how sad it is to lose a dog (we´ve had three so far, and since yesterday we own a 4-year-old wirehaired dachshund )

Thanks ever so much for the various Kingdom filming locations. I bet this is better than a grid reference, however, I´ll be travelling by train this time. But perhaps one day I´ll find a kind soul to drive me all the way from Vienna to Norfolk and - with the right chip inserted into the satnav - around Norfolk to visit all locations.

Here a piccie of our new member of the family (which dogs ARE!!)

He was still a bit "shy" yesterday, but my mother told me this morning that he was feeling much more at home already I am going to visit him later...

Allegedly OTTO But since he doesn´t respond to that horrid name anyway, my mother is in the process of finding a new name for him. I´ll let you know as soon as a decision has been made (a bit off-topic though :-// )
