I should like to see him have a crack at (John Kennedy Toole's) Ignatius J. Reilly from "A Confederacy of Dunces"; in fact I can't think of anyone more suitable for the role.

Adaptations of novels you'd like to see made with Mr. Fry in mind.

 What about as Hector Enderby (previously played by Robert Morley) in "Murder at the Gallop"? - lots of horses in it too  |

I own a pattern book from the 1960s (it´s my mum´s actually, who is a seamstress) with a pattern for a small plush geegee - I think I´d rather make one of those, to ensure Stephen doesn´t get hurt as it will bounce off rather than HIT him hard ...

You've got a point there. Most ponies are hard and plastic. Some are plushy though.
Actually if I was to give him anything I'd want it be something I made myself as well like a drawing like when we sent him the birthday cards.
