I should like to see him have a crack at (John Kennedy Toole's) Ignatius J. Reilly from "A Confederacy of Dunces"; in fact I can't think of anyone more suitable for the role.

Adaptations of novels you'd like to see made with Mr. Fry in mind.

I agree. He's a perfect Ignatius.

I really want to see him in an episode of Agatha Christie's Marple. I don't know who as but I'd just love for him to pop up in an episode. ^_^

What about as Hector Enderby (previously played by Robert Morley) in "Murder at the Gallop"? - lots of horses in it too |

I'm beginning to think we should all throw My Little Ponies at him when we go down and see QI (if emma wemma manages to get tickets).

I own a pattern book from the 1960s (it´s my mum´s actually, who is a seamstress) with a pattern for a small plush geegee - I think I´d rather make one of those, to ensure Stephen doesn´t get hurt as it will bounce off rather than HIT him hard ...

You've got a point there. Most ponies are hard and plastic. Some are plushy though.

I would like him to solve murders in an historical context. Bewigged, even.
