YAYZ!
I am basking in the golden light of relief this weekend as my UCAS form [university applications] has now been handed in
Seeing as I'm applying to Cambridge my application date is stupidly early, so it had to be done by yesterday so that references could be added to it in time for it to be gone by early October
That has to have been one of the most ridiculously stressful weeks of my life so far, thank goodness it's over and done with
*squees*

Well done for getting your form done on time. I hope you get your references added quickly so it can get sent off.

Thanks! Hopefully it shouldn't take too long, my Personal Tutor's ill so I've had to persuade another teacher to adopt me for a week or so while I get this done, but hopefully shouldn't hinder the time schedule too much

That was good of that tutor to look after your app while your tutor's away. Remember to follow up on the references and make sure they've definatly been written and sent quickly as that can be an application's undoing. I had a nasty experience one year where I sent off the form early and was left hanging for ages and ages by the GTTR (a part of UCAS that deals specifically with teacher training applications). When I phoned up I found one of my referees hadn't even confirmed they were going to send a reference nevermind sent in a completed one and so the GTTR wouldn't process my form and send it on. I didn't get in anywhere that year as by the time they sent my form to the unis they were all full up.
