Stephen has just tweeted the link to his Daily Newspaper, created, as far as I understood, using all the links and articles shared by his account (so he is a Curator ) and the people being followed by him (who are Contributors).

There's also another way to create such a Newspaper on paper.li web site, so I thought we might like to have our Fluffettes Daily Newspaper, as well, and thus I created it using the #tag -

http://paper.li/tag/Fluffettes

So, nothing new is required. Basically we keep on tweeting the links, tweets, articles about Stephen and add our hashtag #Fluffettes

I know some Fluffettes are locked and the hashtag works only if you're open...

But what do you think, folks? Is it a good idea to have such a newspaper where all the fluffiness is accumulated neatly and nicely and shared? Mainly for Stephen to read, of course?

xxx

I love your quick thinking, Incky! ;))

Thanks for explaining. Those who are locked like myself could always unlock for that tweet and then lock again.

Should be fun!

Oh, what a lovely idea, inckognito! Thanks for setting up the Fluffettes Daily! Should be interesting and fun.

But - and these are just thoughts:
Considering that Stephen is providing us with this fluffly playground, aka Forum, for free - when other celebrities charge for accessing their websites - would it not be a little "ungrateful" (for want of a better word) to create a "parallel universe", ie the Fluffettes Daily ? And would Stephen really want to read about himself in our daily newspaper? (And we have to accept the fact that he might NOT read it, due to his busy schedule.) Or might he perhaps be more interested in Fluffettes-related stuff (not that I have anything of note to tell about myself...), eg cultural events taking place in your corner of the world? In case Stephen did find a moment to take a peek, he might spot some link he wanted to use in HIS daily newspaper...

I hope I have not offended anyone by the above, that is not the intention.

Will that work? I think you may have to be unlocked until it is actually added to the news page. Maybe some unlocked fluffs can retweet if someone is locked?

The forum is mostly a place for discussion.:) Of course, there are threads where we can share and store things (like pictures in Fry-A-Day), but there is also an enormous amount of interesting links and stuff that we share on Twitter. Not all the Fluffettes are there - many ppl just can't be on twitter or follow everyone, since it's very time-consuming... As far as I understand the whole idea of the newspaper, it's very good for storing links. Maybe we'll bring to Stephen's attention some interesting stuff he would miss otherwise?;) It's quite possible - believe me, I know what I'm talking about.
Also, as far as I can judge, Stephen is very open to his fans' ideas and initiatives... I don't see any reason why this wouldn't please him.

As for the confirmed interest from Stephen himself - please close your ears darlings... WHEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

He's lovely! :))) <3

When I thought about the idea it hadn't crossed my mind that it'd be seen by Stephen but just for fans to read? So I am pleased he doesn't mind. But if we keep this up it'll be mostly for our vewing pleasure. (:

I see what you're saying. When I've wanted a single tweet public, I open my account up just for that tweet and then that tweet shows up in the public twittersphere. From my experience that tweet is always in the public timeline, even after protecting tweets again.

You're right! Remember, when @intheglow (Hope) found the archive of his first web site? How excited he was to found out!

Or just recently some lady made (painted) a la Wagner case for his iPad. The material can be different - someone blog about Stephen (without any critics, please ).

We should think how to "publish" and what to "publish". And what's more important - how to moderate stuff with our hashtag, so that nothing offensive would appear...

My image of this Newspaper is a "store" of interesting links about Stephen, paintings, some fan-art (video, AudioBoo, songs etc)...

What do you think?

I did not know about the links shared on Twitter, nemelle. Now I am beginning to understand - sorry, I´m a bit slow at times

How lovely to have Stephen´s confirmation, inckognito and nemelle He is so sweet! (I think Stephen likes Russian girls )

Is that right? I thought once you locked again all of your tweets disappeared. I didn't think Twitter was that discerning to know keep some and not others. I thought it was an all or nothing deal. Thanks for the heads up. I will think twice before unlocking again.

Fluffies, (if you're still interested )

I've just tweeted and RT-ed some Stephen-related stuff (mostly links) with the hashtag #Fluffettes - so tomorrow we'll be able to see how our page, our Fluffy Newspaper is going to look like.

It just occured to me that Gerti could be partially right by saying that Stephen might be MORE interested in reading smth funny or amusing or who knows what else - and not only about his lovely self. Soooo...

If you have smth fluffy stored I guess you may want to share the link on Twitter with the said tag.

I'm going to stop my RT/tweets for now, and let's see how it all will look like on Moanday...

The #Fluffettes Daily Newspaper is out!!! Woo hoo!

Looks really nice!

It could depend on 2 factors, I guess: whether your tweets were locked at that time (tags don't work when you're private) or the time of contributing.

I tweeted some stuff which didn't show up today, either. Must have been in the next edition, I think...

Anyway! YAY!!!!

LIVE steam on #Fluffettes on the right of the Paper seems to show our conversations anout Stephenkins

I think it's very convenient for Stephen now "to have" us tweeting in a separate column

Fluffies,

any ideas what we can tweet to make our Paper more interesting and not so Stephen-stuffed ?

Maybe images of our countries so he can know us better , paintings we paint, songs we sing, blogs we blog or poems we write - whatever you find worth posting and share with Stephen - let's be creative!

*happy*
