for some reason it's actually really easy to work with 'famous' people here; i dunno why.

geoffrey is really really REALLY nice and funny and (im sure he wont mind me saying) a dork i worked with him last year on Exit The King, which was an amazing play. he's just such a goof, but such a serious actor too.

in terms of celebs i have worked with through theatre and film, here goes:

(i feel like a name dropper :-// )

Heath Ledger
Geoffrey Rush
Cate Blanchette
Hugo Weaving
Vince Colosimo
Shaun Micaleff

geoff was the best though

geoff is the epitome of a dork. you should see him karaoke...EEK!

im actually just finishing up working with cate blanchette and hugo weaving (who is SUCH a babe) on a doco my friend is production designer on called 'In The Company of Actors.' its following the Sydney Theatre Company's rehearsals of Hedda Gabler. in fact im in sydney right now

i'm just like, a production assistant...i.e. coffee girl, fixer of annoying cables and rips in clothes etc. odd jobs.

tis amazing, im so lucky!!

I did something like this in High School, but as an internship in a theatre. It's really one of those jobs that should suck (given the menial aspects) but somehow it's actually really cool, don't you think?!

yeah it should suck, but didnt. as for amyl (i cbf quoting ) i got paid, crummy crummy crummy money, as is usually the way when you do jobs like that. but the main wealth was the experience and hell, getting to work with and really know the amazing people i did.

ok ok I just want to ask a question before you stop talking about your job.... HOW DID YOU GET INTO THAT???!!??!! I really would love to do something like that, I dont care what Id have to do.... Id be a walking handbag for someone.... But I never knew how you could get into something like that, or how you get into set production... Im so ignorant for someone who loves it so much :-// :-// :-//
