Stephen Fry in America: An Allegory.
Hugh represents America.  Here is Stephen about to embark on his journey to America.  Stephen's fist represents the hard work involved in documenting the vagaries of American life.  Stephen gets his hands dirty while in America.  He obviously carries an invisible sheep at some point.  America itself is bowled over by the charming charisma of Mr. Fry.  Stephen returns to England with a bit of America still with him. In the form of blood-stained knuckles from Hugh's shattered nose.  The End.

Here are Stephen and Rita Rudner from Rita Rudner's show, circa 1990.
 He plays an American business man. You can tell by the eyebrows.  And he's very touchy-feely.     Just cuz he's American doesn't mean he can't be a pink panda of fluff.   See? American flag. It counts.  I can't believe gas was 99 cents in 1990.

Can´t quite follow the logic, but hey! X-D I reckon that fluffiness is in the genes! Consequently, Stephen must be aneuploid and carry the fluffiness chromosome as 47th chromosome |

Hilarious. Back in the mid 90s when I lived in San Antonio after graduating from high school, there was a gas station a few blocks from my apartment where I could get gas for 87 cents a gallon. 87!!! Never again, I'm afraid. |

Eeeh, when I were a lad....
I remember when I was about 6 (49 years ago) petrol being 6s3d a gallon. = 31p/4.54ltr = about £.07/ltr The only way is forward. Now where's the bar? |
