Unfortunatly I came late to the joys of Stephen Fry the author, despite having been a huge fan of Stephen Fry the actor/comedian for many many years. Consequently my books are all reissues from 2004(ish) and the covers are different. Indeed, my copy of Paperweight has a rather morose looking bulldog lying on a pile of papers on the front, and the inside cover is of Stephen in jungle mode.
Ah well. It's all good. I love the idea of a Jeeves and Wooster game. |

I love the idea of a Jeeves and Wooster game. I wonder what the tasks of the different levels could be. You´re Jeeves - always remember to shimmer and be as dignified as possible: - Try to get rid of your master´s hideous six-pluses. - Mix the perfect restorative drink for your hung-over master. - Madeline Bassett has threatened to marry Bertie. Think of a scheme to save your master. - You watch Mr Wooster in his bath tub playing with his rubber duck. Try to keep your countenance. Try to not join him in the tub. You´re Bertie - remember to have a sunny disposish but to be mentally negligible: - Try and stop your valet from abandoning your beloved six-pluses. - Escape your Aunt Agatha. - Pinch a police man´s helmet. - You enter a golf tournament. Try for once to not make an ass out of yourself. Hmm, not very exciting, is it?

This week's theme is Stephen & Hugh on Wogan. Golly, this interview is 15 years old. And don't forget that the Golden Globe Awards are on tonight. Hugh could be addressed as Hugh "Two-Time Golden Globe Award Winner & Sex on a Stick" Laurie.
