although I have to say through most of that article I want to punch him in the face. Thank god I'm not the only one. It seems like a lot of articles about Stephen from around this time period were pretty similar. I wonder why he was like this around this time? |

He seemed quite bitter through out that interview.

I don't mean to be funny but we all know Stephen has good times and bad times. He did come across as a wee bit miserable tho!
That would be me. |

I understand that his words there probably reflected his mood. all I know is that by the time he was writing Moab Is My Washpot his opinions were pitch perfect. when I'm reading that thing I stop, point at the page, and say "yes! yes! this!" (and since I live alone I can actually say this out loud!
that actually reminds me, among all the things in the article that was driving me to violence, the one thing I related to was the selfish interest in not living with anyone else. that is exactly how I feel. I'm still young, so I don't want to get too set in my ways, but I don't see the appeal in having someone else using in your same living quarters. anyway, I guess it was just striking that the same person who has produced other writing that I find so profound could also utter such absurd things. really though, since we're talking about a human being, I shouldn't be surprised at all. errrrr, carry on with the pics! sockdolager. |

Oh, I have two days worth of articles to catch up on. I think I will have to forego QI at lunch today and catch up on our articles. It's all worth it. Have to agree with PamJH about the blonde hair, I like it.
Thanks Fryphile. |
