Ha, it would appear so. WIth velcro straps and everything. He's too cool for laces

It almost looks as if he has bicycle clips on - surely not! Clement Frued would understand though!!

I have a cunning plan!

I'm sorry, I thought this was 2009 and not 1989. WHERE IS HIS BODY? The clothes have nothing to hold on to.
I know
Those trousers are ATLEAST 2 sizes too big for him.

He certainly has lost enough weight, I wouldn't want to see him lose any more. That suit is a little large for him, but not that bad. I think he looks very handsome.

Jeeves would have a fit if he saw that overlarge suit. It would go the way of the white mess jacket.

He does look great, now it's time he went shopping.

Fryphile, my credit card is ready.

I am really enjoying the boos. Wish I could boo back. No iPhone. Actually, no cell phone at all.

What a lovely picture! He looks absolutely fabulous (sorry, but I´m not into "dissecting" people, if he was feeling comfy in his suit and shoes, then that´s all that matters ) And the boos (or should that be booes?) are lovely too!

I figure this should get posted here:

Stephen attending the funeral of Sir Clement Freud.
Aww. Looking very respectable and dashing here.

I wouldn't say they're trainers, at all. They're shoes, perfectly fine for the occasion. But trainers wouldn't be. Sorry, I just wanted to stress that point.

I completely agree with you Soph. They don't look like "trainers" to me, and I think he looks very respectable and respectful. I wouldn't have expected anything else from him.

I. Actually, no cell phone at all.

Oh another one. Don't have a cell phone as well. I'm simply refusing to buy one.Don't like them. But I'm quite addicted to the internet instead.

I wouldn't mind having one if I didn't have to give anyone my phone number. I don't like being so accessible all the time. And the cost is a bit prohibitive, too. Internet addiction? I'm there.

edited to fix confusion and again to fix more confusion. Sheesh.

my solution to accessibility for all of high school was just to never turn on my phone if I didn't want to make a call.
now I admit I keep it on and with me all the time, but that's because I don't have any other telephone, and my family wants to be able to reach me at any hour, which I can understand.

A couple from the Digital Britain thingamabobber.

And a couple.
