it's better now

i just keep walking into misunderstandings around here

and just am not so used to it cause back about a year ago i felt so understood here.

it's not any fault of a person there is just some weird cultural things that come up over and over. i enjoy learning about other places on here so i try to listen and have an open mind. but when i talk about my own, or some other particular part of myself, i feel like i'm being overbearing because i put it off until i'm defending it and already upset.

i think i just sound like i'm going "blah blah blah blah" and everyone would just go "huh.....meh."

Not at all Michael. Perhaps when these situations arise you post 'god dammit' straight away so that we can unpick the cultural difference you have experienced. It could be like the flag being waved that says 'stop a minute, rewind, back up'.

Never put off something until you're upset! Get it out there straight away!

I have a cunning plan!

as long as it starts inciting laughter and not anger !

i really don't want to make a lot of unnecessary anger

Honestly, Micheal, it's good you've let us know of the matter, were a little worried about you. And you have every right to say how you feel.
I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. You shouldn't feel pushed aside in anyway. (I know you didn't say that specifically but I just wanted to let you know. ) Especially since you're one of the original forumers and you're such a nice person. ; ]

Me, neither. I'd rather we all laugh together.

it's better now"

I'm glad to hear that, now let the laughter commence (!) Oh and for the record, I've never had any difficulty understanding you, probably because you excel at bridging gaps. And even when you go "blah blah blah" I never say "huh...meh"

god damnit.

I am quite partial myself to the occaisional unsolicited "God damn it"

but prefer "Dag nab it" or even a good old "Jesus H Christ on a jetski"
