All,
Thank you for all your support. I had a P.E.T scan last week and the results came back yesterday.
I am clear of Tumours - not clear of cancer cells will take at least 2 years for the official all clear.
They did find a Gall Bladder problem - probably gall stones but that is easily sorted compared to cancer.
SO I KICKED CANCERS BUTT.

Great news V!!!! I just started wondering if we should start a thread for those of us not only dealing with our mental health, but chronic pain and other health issues as well.

a very belated congrats from me (iv only just found this site)
this year I'm officially a 5 year survivor, (though i do still have some mass's to contend with)
my kids will never see this site so i think i can safely confess that when i was diagnosed i kinda hoped i wouldn't win the battle and was fairly happy that here in the U.S.A. it was so difficult for me to find good treatment... yes i am apparently a selfish prick but i just didn't have the energy to continue the never ending crap (i did however ensure provisions were made for my children) .. the ineptitude of the treatment i received delighted me, i could make a show of doing the right thing and fighting and for a while there (2 years) it looked like i may indeed get my wish LOL
bizarrely enough though since all the op's and the occurrence of a mass on the adrenal gland and thyroid I've barely been bothered by the bi polar, isn't that odd
not sure it will make for a popular cure though LOL
I'm glad you managed to win the battle and kick its butt and i wish you a speedy recovery back to full health
