Stephen Fry - who would have thought?

Frank Schätzing - German author, not that I liked his books particularly, but I saw him in a talkshow once and he seemed such a good person to talk to, interested in so many different things and knowing a lot

Noel Fielding - we could party in an Indie Club

Kate Walsh - because she seems funny and intelligent, down to earth and is an amazing actress; also, she looks fabulous - I have a major girl crush there, basically I want to be like her

Dieter Medicus - he's a legal scholar *blush*

Meret Becker - German actress and singer, I think she's awesome

Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman - preferably together

Klaus Kleber - he's a journalist, makes me watch the news and I just like him

Jude Law - so he might be arrogant? I don't care!

Phil Glenister - though that might spoil my picture of Gene Hunt; I can't meet a fictional character, can I?

I'm sure, I can think of more. But I need to make pizza.

I am not a Russian spy, cross my heart and hope to die.

I've been lucky enough to have met a few of the people on some of these lists. I can happily say that Terry Pratchett was very friendly, Neil Gaiman was utterly adorable and Stephen Fry was even more lovely than I'd ever dared to imagine!

On the flipside though, I would recommend *against* meeting Dylan Moran. He really doesn't seem to enjoy the whole fan process at all. Friends of mine were getting his autograph and I actually felt really bad for him because he seemed so genuinely uncomfortable with it all.

I would have loved to have met Douglas Adams *sadface*

I would also like to meet:

David Mitchell
Emma Thompson
Hugh Laurie
David Tennant

That will do for now but there's probably a million others!

Ooh I thought of some more:

Adam & Joe (ie Adam Buxton & Joe Cornish)
I'd love to meet them.
I *heart* Joe especially

Wow. I really did have to turn to Wikipedia for those two. Unfortunately they are not so known down here.

They're not really known here in Australia either. I only came across them because I'm such an anglophile. I love the podcasts of their radio show. Though sadly they are off the air for a while at the moment.

Don't let the silver fern fool you, I may be a Kiwi but I live in Australia.

Go the Mighty All Blacks, however.
