I think it would go a long way for new members to avoid embarassment or over-taking a thread that has nothing to do with introductions, to create a *specific* and *clearly displayed* parent thread for Introductions. I know there's a thread kind of like that, but if you look at the thread index as displayed on the forum's home page, there is nothing that says,"New members post your Introductions HERE" or "Introduce yourself HERE ", with some guidelines about introductions.
As it is, you have new members plopping down here and there and everywhere. This isn't about it being 'bad', only that it makes the forum look even that much more disorganized than it already does.
