This aint a song but its better than a song:
Just had my psych appt...
I am no longer BPD...
YES you heard right!!!!!
My problems are no longer pervasive, I do not qualify for a diagnosis of BPD!!!!
I score under 5 of the 9 criteria in all but one area of my life in which I only just score the 5.
I'm over the moon

WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!! Congrats to you Tg!!!! I hope you will still pop in every now and again for a chat. I think I can speak for all of us in saying you are brilliant, and it is always a pleasure to hear from you!
I was just thinking about house of pain the other day. I think this song is from the bar scene in Daredevil with Colin Farrell as Bullseye.

Top of the Morning to ya!!
Oh! Tg, I think I have traced an ancestor on my dad's side to Lochwinoch, Renfrewshire. I have not researched that area yet and I cannot find a record of this ancestors parent's so my assumption is that they never left there. Anyway, if you know this area or anything about it I would be happy to hear about it!

Howdy, thankyou to everyone for kind wishes xxxx
Much appreciated.
TG, brilliant news. Be proud of yourself. You've done wonders with your life, well done. Have hugs please!
Haven't been on for a couple of days due to a bad neck would you believe.
It's OK now, but there is still some pain so I'm not going to be on long. I don't want to set it off again.
Am sending you all cuddles and kaboodles. (Kaboodles are cuddles only they are the luxury version)

Thanks everyone
Marz, I'm no where near Renfrewshire but it just so happens I'm close friends with someone who lived there for bout 6 to 7 years.
Its west coast so most likely cold and rainy, just south of Glasgow, Renfrew is apparently not the nicest of places but I wouldn't judge a place on my friends opinion of it, he's rather cynical and pessimistic. The only town in Renfrewshire I have heard about is Paisley and I've not heard much tbh.
I will ask my mate a bit more about the county though.

The only thing I have so far is possibly my third or fourth great grandfather might have been Elisha J. Thurmond who married Mary Glenn. Mary Glenn's father's name was John.
A research person sent me a lot of lists to look through, so I hope to find more on one of those.
Knowing my grandfather's county of birth and he died in a house fire Aug. 1975 has led me to what I have so far. So I am fairly certain the info I do have is correct.
Thanks Tg!!! Perhaps you mate knows if there is a local website I can go to and find more. I am sure Renfrew has changed in the last 200 years or so, perhaps it was nice at one time or it was not and that is why my kin moved to sunny Georgia. LOL!!!

thanks Tito.
I am not sleeping, being told off for being too talkative. I've racing thoughts, i've blown a large amount of money in an out of control sense... i could go on.

You don't have to. I know it well.
Sending you love and the knowledge it won't last. Out of all of the above the racing thoughts are, for me, the most difficult.
And the fact I can't type properly in that state, read properly and talk like I've got a flannel around my tongue.
Hugest hugs. xxx

Thank you, so good to hear that. (though i'm sorry you have had to experience the same).
Racing thoughts are the worst, but i have those ALL THE TIME anyway, perhaps not this bad, but badly enough to fuck up my life.

Read the above posts a while ago, and initial reaction was it would be nice to have racing thoughts. On reflection, i think not. Must be a nightmare. An interesting change from having thoughts that are like mud, or fog, and hard to catch hold of, but, i imagine, not much fun.
How're you doing KS?

Well it's 00.18 here and i am buzzing. I emailed my psych about it but he never replies... maybe i should make some medication decisions myself. Mind you i think i know a lot about psychiatry... what the prof knows just blows me away - not seeing him for 6 weeks, though i can call and see him any time. I'm saving the......oops mind switched to something else and lost train of thought. Dammit that's another symptom.
Sorry, lost focus. think hypomania might need the hypo knocking off the front. i'm still insightful though - good sign.

excuse typos after I'd taken night meds, have corrected them now... I hope.

my husband got frustrated with me today. with the moving i have a hard time doing one thing at the time. i want to do it all right now. i try to do several things at once to try to save time and he says i am moving too fast for him. told me we need to take a breath so we could figure step 1, step 2.......
i like to try and kill two birds with one stone as the saying goes, whenever possible. not really husbands style. i am the one with the common sense and he is the one with the book smarts. damn engineers. i think my way is best but i try to simmer down as to not cause undo stress.
