It's a gorgeous and high and true and fine and fluffy and moist and sticky and lovely feeling, it is.

Proof that Stephen lurves us all.

I think of myself as someone who is filled with love, whose only purpose in life was to achieve love. - Stephen Fry

I'd write to him, but I've got absolutely nothing to say. Except maybe 'Challenge you to Facebook Scrabble Face-off?"

But HOW do you write to Mr Fry?

Is there a hot mail line?

A secret address swapped among members with a secret handshake?

You all got a red FRYPHONE - kinda like Batman had but without the symbol in the sky.....?

lol

Tip: Don't write to him for the SAKE of getting a reply.

Write when you have something intersting to SAY - and I'm sure he'll answer when he has time.

If I was famous I'd totally ignore you all, but then I'm NOT pink and fluffy and Mr Fry is a much nicer person than I.

I tried to be nice once - but then I heard the words of the great philosopher - Clint Eastwood..............

"A man's gotta know his limitations....."

God bless you all.

I'm beginning to feel a Girl Guides patch ought to be made up for those who have received letters from Stephen Fry. I'm just not sure as to the appropriate iconography.

I spent most of my time in Girl Scouts getting kicked out of meetings for relating the cookie selling schemes to that of drug pushers. I was in some ways a horrible, horrible child.

Gosh, I'm at a blank for other patches. Maybe something special for we non-UKers. Torrent seeker specialist or something for hunting down torrents of Kingdom and QI etc?

Oh gosh, Girl Scout cookie time! Not one of my favorite memories. I liked the Girl Scouts for one year, the year that my mother and her friend, an awesome butch lesbian (and probably the only such out-lesbian in town) were our troop leaders. We totally pwned that year. But then my mom's friend was unofficially asked to leave and I ended up in a creepy cheerleader-y troop and I started to think that Girl Scouts were all a bunch of jerks. Which they were. I went to Girl Scout camp the next summer and was the scapegoat/official unpopular kid in our cabin and spent the whole week crying and begging my mom via letters to let me come home.

when i went to church camp, all the girls forced me out of the cabin with a broom and locked me out. i went to the evening service and started crying and i think some people thought i was "touched by the spirit". no. it was... awkward.

never did overnight girlscout camp... as right before i was born, a guy murdered a whole tent of girlscouts. seriously, that's why.

FRYSCOUTS sounds like much more fun than either of those were.
