I cannot be awake for nothing looks to me as it did before, Or else I am awake for the first time, and all before has been a mean sleep.

I love it when British and Aussie guys who shop at the store I work at call me "love". Or..."luv". "Thanks luv." It's so cute! I think everyone should call everyone "Love" all the time! (... Although thinking about it, without the British or Australian accent, it would probably sound more creepy than charming.)

Last year's pledge class is moved in! They're not babies anymore, which is sad, but we get new ones in a few weeks! And the new class will (very probably) include my real sister! It's an exciting time of year, but a hell of a lot of work.

I watched a hummingbird play in my sprinkler this morning.

In the short time I've been here (and been following some of you on Twitter) I've found you all to be amazingly lovely and sweet and fluffy and gorgeous!
I have felt so welcomed by all of you and I'm so pleased to be here!
Thanks Fluffettes for being so wonderful

I ordered my Fry Chronicles today . It'll be delivered on the 4th of October, but that fact doesn't belong in this thread because that is LATE . But I've also snuck a used copy of Paperweight past my skintness-conscious self while I was at it. Heehee. That'll be here in a week or so.

Today was Bid Day! We welcomed 29 girls into our sisterhood, and they are ADORABLE! The best part is that my biological sister is a freshman this year, and now she's going to be my sorority sister as well!

I'm sure no one cares to see the new class, but I can't not share them, so BAM:

Aaaaand, here's the whole chapter, minus several people:

I am so so very excited about my second year anthropology class. I get to actually go out and research a micro-culture. I get to carry around a little digital recorder and interview people and take notes! (Oh, and by "micro-culture" I mean a soccer team or something along those lines. Not a tribe in Ethiopia or anything.) Still cool right? I'm still a trendy person right? Right?!?!

I know, it's so silly because our colors are light blue, dark blue, and gold... but kiddies love pink! The babies obviously haven't learned the sorority squat, in which one bends at the knees and waist and places hands on thighs to ensure that the back row is seen in a picture.

Lauren, that sounds awesome! Who are you going to study? I'll interview my sisters for you and you can write about evil Greeks and how mysterious we are!

I KNOW THE STRIPES ARE PRETTY AWESOME, HUH?!

My sister attended her first non-family tailgate this weekend and enjoyed the lack of supervision. On the way to the game (and under the influence of Keystone Light), she asked, "Do we get to go to Theta Chi EVERY weekend?!" After explaining that they are our football buddies and, yes, we see them often, she became very excited. And she found everything hilarious throughout the first half.
