Hello and welcome,
It might be better if you post this in the 'Secret life of the manic depressive' thread, which is further up the page.
I hope you get a lot from the forum.
Best wishes, Tito x
By the by, rapid cycling has left me exhausted as time has gone on. I'm 44 and not so good today.
Hopefully will speak soon, take care.

hi msjft!
this forum can be confusing for awhile, like a stranger's house, huh?
if you like, we can just direct some of the SLOTMD folks to this thread. if that's easier for you than looking about

And with an admin's clickety click, wow, this thread has moved to TSLOTMD section of the forum... I am an administrator on this site and also bipolar - I have moved your thread from general musings to this section of the forum so hopefully you will get some more answers to it, and you keep the answers you already had. Here is where you find support. We are a small group so we get to know each other well and care for each other a lot!
WELCOME msjft to the best and most supportive little mental illness forum you could want.

I'm glad you have found people's posts helpful.
It is a relief indeed to find people who understand how you feel.
I hope you find comfort here. I have.

I wasn't able to come back and read your entire post until today. it was filled with trauma in so many places. i wish you all the best in getting back on your feet after so much difficulty.
i loved hearing about your wonderful kids, and how dedicated you are to them! and your love of refinishing furniture. i often fantasize about opening a store to sell refinished furniture or making my own...i don't really even know how to make my own tho and i seem to be guided on to other kinds of jobs... but i totally get how pleasing that can be!
it's great to meet you, and hope to see you around here & on the other boards too
