Do you buy the Beano/Dandy collections every year? The ones with all the old comic strips from a specific decade? My favourite is the one with the strips from the 50s.

I do! I liked the Focus on the Fifties one - is that the one you meant?

And boffinbabe12 - I'll post it to you if you give me some sort of address. I have some Private Eyes from last summer if you want those too?

Naa I'm ok thanks... I don't want to be rude or offend but I'm not too keen on giving my address out over the internet. Sorry!"

Yeah! Early Minnie the Minx, Roger The Dodger and Bash Street Kids (When the Bell Rings as it was originally known). Brilliant stuff!

Ah - I never thought of that. Heehee - yeah, I'm really secretly an 80 year old pervert with a penchant for Stephen Fry fans muahahahah!

Seriously though, I totally understand

And the Beano is just Brilliant! Calamity James is my favourite, but he's not in the early ones alas...

Why is this sad? Alan Davies getting married? Do you love him?

I'd have Bill Bailey as my best man if i could.

No. He didn't appear until the 70s right?

I love the squidgy things in his strips! ^_^

My other half bought me the Book of General Ignorance for Christmas. He's now really annoyed, because when we watch repeats of QI on UK Gold, I know the answers!! Hee, hee! On a different note, as a teacher do I tell children that Henry VIII had six wives or the 2 or 4 wives that the book of GI suggests?! X-D
