I see that the BBC, in their 'infinite wisdom' (hah!) have pushed QI XL from the schedules to make way for concerts for at least the next two weeks (yawn).

What shoddy treatment of QI XL this is, I'm NOT a happy bunny.

Have already had a bloody good moan to the BBC:

I don't understand the BBC. I don't know how well the ratings are, but I assume that everyone who watches it, also/only watches the XL version, thus rendering the shorter one more or less obsolete. Wouldn't it make more sense for the BBC to simply only broadcast the longer version, and be done with the short version altogether? Or at least make the XL available as a download, or something.
