I have a question for Stephen or for anyone else out there who may know the answer or have a view themselves.
What software does Stephen favour for writing novels?
A simple word processor or one of the many other tools out there which supports a bit of organisation of the novel? (including the characters, timelines, relationship maps, ideas, location info etc)
The reason I ask, is that my partner is about to embark on a novel and I thought I might buy her an app to help out.
Doing a little research I see a lot of tools out there which aim to help you in your creativity and idea etc. Which is not what I am looking for. I am more thinking in terms of an organisational tool which helps the novelist but stays out of the way. There do seem to be a few options out there, notably, Scrivener, WriteItNow, WriteWay etc
Anyone out there (including Stephen) know what Stephen favours?
Or any ideas of your own?
