So it's one year on from the first part of the bipolar documentry that Stephen did. I don't think anyone here would say it hasn't effected their life at all, cause to start with you wouldn't be posting in a forum called 'The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive' if it wasn't for the documentry.

So I just thought we could all say how it has effected us all and what progress we've made in the last year.

Thanks for your time.

Wow, just been looking around the Forum, and it's like totally new people. I used to post here up untill a month ago, and suddenly it's all change. Just to give you my story, as it fits in to this topic anyway.

Knew there was something up with me for a while, can probably trace signs back to september 2005, but it wasn't untill april 2006 I used the phrase manic depressive. Then the Fry documentry came along, and I was like omg, this is what's happening to me, I can so relate with this. Then January of this year came to this forum for a bit, but it wasn't untill july that I first saw doctor. After a couple of appointments GP said I'd be reffered to a Psychiatric nurse sometime in August, but I still haven't heard from anyone. So as I'm sort of managing fine at the moment, that being mood going between
(-1) and 1, but mostly on the (-1) side, I'm just going to wait untill another major episode, and then see what happens.

God I sound so boring - but it would be nice to get to know the newish people here and their stories.

It's amazing how fast the time goes.

And what do you think to this new Doc that Stephen is doing: 'HIV and Me' ?

Hopefully it will have a similar impact and raise a similar awareness becuase in my opinion Stephen has done so much for Bipolar.
