Stephen shouldn't be apologetic when it comes to discussions of Oscar Wilde, at least on his expertise of the man. I hope in the future he continues to interject Wilde stories like that in the 3rd episode. I can only imagine the research he underwent for the movie (thoroughly enjoyable for those who have yet to see it).

Keep up the excellent work, Mr Fry.

It was probably because of Stephen's movie that I gave my son the middle name of Oscar (born April1st this year!).

For years I hadn't read it, though I have a degree in literature and am a big fan of Wilde's plays. One day last summer I finally picked it up and discovered what I was missing. He truly was a remarkable wit.

I wish he wouldn't be so apologetic about talking about Oscar Wilde either. I'd love to hear him talking about Wilde more and any other authors that really interest him. It's good to have someone intelligent talking about interesting things instead of hearing people talking about boring stuff like reality shows, talent shows and soaps.

Assuming direct control...
