the trouble is in the sending/replying to them. when I try to sent a pm I get the message that the person doesn't exist ( he really does tho)
and if I click the reply button it just goes to a blank screen going nowhere.

I am what I am

okay I did manage to get a pm out, the problem seems to be that something puts a - between first and last name and then it doesn't recognise the username any more.

I am what I am

Its the weirdest thing. I experienced this momentarily, and then it just stopped and never happened again. Maybe its a bug that needed to be worked out??

The entire PM experience lately has been horrible. And very rarely responded to I'm afraid.

Good luck with your problems. You'll need it

Hi there TA. I have been trying to send a PM but the site is not letting me.

I contacted tech support about using the reply feature in PM's. They said they'd look into it, but haven't sorted it yet. If you want to reply, don't, send a new message instead. That has always worked for me.

I'm not an expert, (actually I am in many ways), but I think the problem is associated with the ad.yieldmanager function, that is what is trying to load up, but it fails, so the reply page also fails.

Bay, I don't let that run and can reply OK.

I've noticed though that the site can't decide if I'm logged in or not but doesn't prevent me from the PM replies unless my/recipients in or outbox are full.

Really? Wow.

*bump*

I cannot delete outbox messages. The error window indicates I'm 'not allowed to'

I don't want to lose all of them, but they are adding up. As a result, my life is totally shattered and I may being having some unpleasant dreams, which may result in me ignoring daily chores.

Really? Wow.

*bump...again*

There are certain 'sent/outbox' msgs the site refuses to allow me to delete. Why?

Really? Wow.

It's because they are in a link if you have been having a conversation and want to delete one post from it, it wont let you unless you have already deleted the ones above it in the conversation - I THINK!!!!!!!!

This would be so much easier with checkboxes next to the list of Inbox and Outbox msgs. Check the box, hit delete, gone. Kinda like most emails...e.g. Yahoo...that sorta thing...

Agreed, but that's not how this forum is written, unfortunately.

Is it because it's relying so much on Wordpress?

Seems like a little jax tweaking under the hood could add to and alter the behavior well enough. Are you not allowed access to that code?

Really? Wow.
