When people have a bad day they say "oh I'm terribly depressed" - I want to snap at them and say you have no idea what true depression really is, do not use that word unless you really know what it means". Grrr.

I know what you mean, I just don't bother trying to explain any more - unless you've been there you can't possibly understand - until you've been to that dark place where all is totally comfortless, unless you've been through whole days with only the thought of your destruction running through your head I don't think anyone can understand.

People abuse words literally every day (was that one? ... Nah) and it is very easy to become offended if you are so inclined. But in a world of so many people (will not estimate a number for reasons of posterity) there will always be huge groups pitted against you or your beliefs (or both, yes I'm speaking to you religious people). Just accept that many people disagree with you (and that an equal number of people are wrong!) and nothing will change that (RFID?).
Dostoevski said it better than all of us. (another quote) "Man is a creature who can get used to anything, and I believe that is the very best way of defining him." |

Dobermann I'm sure you speak a lot of sense.
And would love to read it sometime. |
