Way, waaaay back in May we had a discussion about how totally awesome it would be if we could hear the voices of the people that visit here. Seeing as people are coming from all over the place, it could be interesting to compare some of our accents.
The idea never came to fruition back then, but I figure it's worth another try. I'm bored and feeling slightly daring, so why not? (Daring since I gotta go first. Don't laugh.  )
SOMEONE DO IT TOO, OTHERWISE I'LL GET GRUMPY. 
And as for hosting your sound file, there are a bunch of websites you can find through google. I was lazy and didn't want to create a new account anywhere, so I just put it on Photobucket as a video. (Recorded using default Windows sound recorder --> imported into Windows Movie Maker --> added some random pics to make it a video --> saved it to my computer --> tada, Photobucket will allow it.)

this is a fun idéa! 
I am not quite sure if I would dare though, I have a horrible swedish accent and I actually have nothing to say!
But pleace, keep it up, and I might feel the urge to spill my words and dignety some day!

Oh, don't worry about having anything to say, you can read out of a book or even from the dictionary if you want. I personally would really, really love to hear what a Swedish accent sounds like. "Your room...it's CLEAN!!!"

BB is an Indian Ringneck - he was pissed that I was talking during sleep time.
I was SO tired when I recorded that lol. Sorry I dont have a thick aussie accent

Okay - I did it. You will have to excuse the wobbly camera work- recorded on my phone with the camera pointed at my computer screen. Unfortunately I don't have any pets like Occy so I can't show you them- though I do have three wooden dinosaurs.

i'll try my darnedest.
right now it takes about 20 minutes for this thing to upload one photo!!
and i don't know if i'll be able to hear any of everyone else's...but i'm going to a bigger town for a week soon and i think i can get on a faster connection for a day or two.
