I cannot change my profile settings. ( e.g. can't change signature ). There is no active link to click on that I can see. In fact, there's nothing OBVIOUS, ( and 'obvious' is a really great thing for us horrible, nasty end users ), about changing the settings at all.
I use the latest Mozilla browser.
I used to have a quote by [name of a guy here]. Now I don't.

Hello!
I'm trying to utilise the code indicated on the profile page to link my own website... after saving the signature looks fine but clicking results in your returning to the main forum index!

Can anyone offer any advice?

Nitro - I assume you've clicked "My Profile" on the right and checked that there is or is not an "(edit)" next to your name? If that's not there, I'm not sure what to tell you other than possibly trying another browser to see if it's there in that environment.
Mr Gallo - This may not make it work, but try putting the "http://" in the address in your href

OlivertWisted:
i've never been able to figure that out. if i edit my profile, under gender it says "you can set it to "prefer not to say" if you choose" but that option isn't in the list! it only has "please select, male, female" and if i leave it on "please select" it says ERROR.
i'd forgotten about that, anyone know why that is?

I don't think it's deliberately chauvinistic. There was a big change to the forum a few months ago and there are some glitches left. I think you are just experiencing one of them.
As we can't, as far as I'm aware, view each other's profiles, because of another glitch, no-one can see your gender anyway.
It's just nice to see another new member.
So welcome anyway.
